Honouring Olivia's Legacy
The Rourke family is honoured to announce the official launch of the Olivia Rourke Foundation—a charitable initiative dedicated to continuing Olivia’s legacy of compassion, leadership, and service.
The Olivia Rourke Foundation will focus on supporting youth-led community initiatives, advancing women in sport, and funding cancer-related charities and research.

Hoops for Hope
Date: Saturday, June 7, 2025
Location: Walkerton District Community School
Olivia organized this event as a tribute to her mom, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Wanting to channel her love and strength into something meaningful, she brought together two things that mean the world to her—basketball and her mom.

All proceeds from this tournament go toward breast cancer research. A group of teachers and coaches here at WDCS couldn't bear to see one of the last things Olivia was trying to do cancelled, so we have decided to go ahead and try to run the fundraiser that Olivia was so keen to operate.

We are still collecting teams to help make this a successful event for her. If you are unable to enter a team, but would like to contribute to this breast cancer research fundraiser, please email hopehoops2025@gmail.com to get information about e-transferring a donation.
